Preston Mohr has been in visual effects production since July 2021. He is a VFX production manager based in New York City. He is known for his work on Palm Royale (2024), Barbie (2023), and Twisters (2024). Raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Preston graduated from Holmdel High School and studied computer science and film at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He wrote and directed the short film Skylight (2021) for his senior capstone, leading a small production team and band of five visual effects artists. He did a variety of work as a freelance visual effects artist before working as a visual effects production coordinator for Warner Bros. on Don't Worry Darling (2022), Salem's Lot (2024), and Barbie (2023). He then went on to work within the production teams of Twisters (2024) for Universal and FUBAR (2023) for Skydance/Netflix. In 2025, he started as a VFX production manager on Palm Royale (2024) for Apple Studios.
